Review: Brewers' X-Men Origins Wolverine Plus 10

Team Brewers have been around the trainer scene for a long time. Their releases are usually top notch. This one is no different.

What you get with this trainer is a nice list of options. The super speed and jump options are surprisingly useful in different scenarios. I wouldn't recommend turning them on for the whole game however. It's hard to control wolverine on a beam in a high place when you're moving so fast. Similarly, it's tough to jump with any control when your jump is so high.

Then there's the one hit kill. It's great to use on the regular enemies (and in some ways makes the game more satisfying). The bad part comes when you take on a boss. The game will lock up or crash when you instant kill a boss. This is due to the boss having different attack mode or stages that it undergoes during the battle. For this reason, I would only use one hit kill on regular enemies. This includes wendigo and other big lumbering meanies.

The trainer application comes in the signature animation and scrolling text that one would expect from a brewer's release. If you click on the NFO text, it will display the trainer options. Similarly, you can disable the music by clicking on the MUSIC text. It will also auto disables the music when the game is running. This is all nice and well. I would rather the trainer didn't include any music or snazzy animation. But as that is the signature of the group, I doubt any new releases will be any different. Finally, you can close the trainer by right mouse clicking anywhere on the application.

In conclusion, this trainer is solid. For all the options that I've tried, it works as stated. Here's wishing all future versions will leave out the annoying music and animation.
